New York,
NY - One company is about to bring new meaning to Hallmark's
famed advertising tagline, "When you care enough
to send the very best." Twinklecards is a new greeting
card company specializing in high end handcrafted cards and invitations
made with materials like Swarovski Austrian crystals,
imported firepolished glass beads, and handmade Japanese
paper.
Priced between $7-$15 per card, the company says these
cards are intended for special occasions. Anne Byun,
Designer of Twinklecards explains, "This isn't
your everyday greeting card. They're unique because
of the materials that are used and the precise handwork
that goes into each card. Each card is truly a little
piece of art." The company also revealed that a
variety of unusual tools are used to ensure precision
such as tweezers, cotton swabs, nail files, and even
a magnifying glass.
The line consists of over thirty different designs.
The styles range from fun to simple and elegant, with
the majority having a floral theme. "Flowers are
like a universal symbol for love, compassion, gratitude,
and friendship. People give flowers on special occasions
and I'd like people to do the same with my cards",
says Anne Byun.
Twinklecards are available at selected retailers including
Soolip Paperie & Press (310-360-0545),
Uno Mundo (212-228-2556) and At Home Gramercy
Park (212-673-4463).
